The Icy Core - Narrative excercise
The Icy core is one of isolation and silence.
Cold and barren, no one seems to stay long. Those that do stay grow weary, they struggle and push to believe they can change this core to one of warmth, but they usually always cave before they succeed in their quest.
Not this one however, she stayed. She talked to it, she never left its side, even when the murmurs of the core grew silent, she would still act as if it was active. Many journeyed to the core to tell her the task she was attempting was useless. The core never changed, it was lost to its own beliefs,
she was not swayed.
